I'M SELLING MY VIXEN CORSETS OFF FOR $69 TO $79 (NORMAL PRICE $100 TO $110) AND I'M SELLING MY COURTIER CORSETS FOR $89 (RATHER THAN THE $145 PRICE TAG!) I'LL DEFINATELY BE LOSING MONEY ON THEM, BUT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT ANY OTHER WAY TO DO THIS. I'M SORRY, I KNOW THERE ISN'T A GREAT RANGE OF SIZES, BECAUSE THE STUFF THAT'S LEFTOVER AT THE END OF THE FESTIVALS GENERALLY ISN'T MEDIUM/LARGE SIZES, BECAUSE THOSE ARE THE VERY AVERAGE SIZES THAT SELL FIRST. HOWEVER, IF ANY OF THESE THINGS FIT YOU, GET ONE! SERIOUSLY! OTHERWISE, I MIGHT BE THROWING CORSETS OUT OF MY VAN WINDOW AS WE DRIVE DOWN THE FREEWAY(now, I WAS joking there.)!

ReplyDeleteYou have such beautiful items & as a fellow seamstress, I feel your pain, understand you hard work, & I have the same love of fabric (I too am drowning in fabrics, I just can't stop!) Anyhow, I know that to copy is the most sincere form of flattery, but somehow I don't always think that is so. I am always scouring ebay & other Ren sites for ideas (inspirations, not for copying), and I found this Hong Kong based designer who has completely copied your corset designs! Minus the fiberglass rods in front, but I was shocked to see them. Mind you all his stuff is made in Hong Kong with his own "staff" of sewers, and are not all lovingly done by him like ours are. Whatev! But, I can say that his little tiny Hong Kong models do no justice to your corset designs, they just have no shape! LOL. Here's the shameless link: http://www.cloakrenaissance.com/buy-costumes.asp?Buy-Costume=Corset-Costume&categoryid=7
