Well, I'll be honest. I don't even know why or how this bodice worked out. I've had the idea in my head for a long time, I've just not ever had it come to fruition, but here it is. A serious buccaneer bodice. And, a little secret to the 1.5 people that are actually going to read this-I was too dang lazy to actually sew all of those buttons. They're safety pinned on.
Dang! That is a fabulous bodice! I can't wait till you get here this year. We had so much fun last year!!! (hey it was so great to see my name on the list of people you like) :o)
ReplyDeleteThat is one awesome bodice!! I love the buttons, even if they're all but taped on. ;) The two-tone of the collar is incredible, nice work!!
ReplyDeleteI also think this is just wonderful! It has a really nice effect of wearing a full coat and a few layers, without actually having to do so! <3
ReplyDeleteI think this is a better bodice than the pirate bodice with gold gimp/soutache on it!!!! By far! Time consuming but beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in this kind of dress,i think this is really your style.
