Peacock Pirate Coats

To tell you the truth, I think I might be a little jaded on bodices. Not that I'm sick of them or anything, but I've made so many (I'm guessing the number is up around 3000 since I started this company when I was 17) that I hardly ever IMPRESS myself anymore. I still love them, and believe in them with all my heart, but I'm fairly used to them. It's sort of like my husband when he sees me in a bodice. He sees it so often, that I usually get the "You look fine" kind of response. Most husbands that come into my booth with their wives and see them in corsets just salivate.
Anyhow, this is the first outfit in a while that's made me salivate. I hope you all agree. ;)

Ladies, Ladies
For any of you interested, this is my crew. To the left is my sister-in-law, Jill :exceptional bread-baking-baby-making-corset-sewing genius. To the right, my lovely sister, Emma= Cartoonist extraordinaire+personality+apron&skirt seduction.
These gals are part of the reason I'm even able to do any renaissance festivals....However, if any of you are ever interested in working for me at a ren fest, throw me an e-mail that impresses and astounds me and I'll gladly hire you. You can either work for free bodices or money. ;)

Wanna see a flippin' awesome bustle?
Okay, first off, THANK YOU for any of you who gave me input on my last post. It is much appreciated and I promise you that little tears were forming in my eyes as I realized that the human race IS good and WANTS to help me make corsets. ;) With that said, I just figured I would share this outfit with you.
I had a girl that's a lead singer in a steampunk band, and she told me that she wanted a patchwork bustled skirt and a pirate looking bodice because she and her band wanted to look like airship pirates......wow, what a request! But, I do love challenges, so this is what I came up with. Check it out.
