Okay, first off, THANK YOU for any of you who gave me input on my last post. It is much appreciated and I promise you that little tears were forming in my eyes as I realized that the human race IS good and WANTS to help me make corsets. ;) With that said, I just figured I would share this outfit with you.
I had a girl that's a lead singer in a steampunk band, and she told me that she wanted a patchwork bustled skirt and a pirate looking bodice because she and her band wanted to look like airship pirates......wow, what a request! But, I do love challenges, so this is what I came up with. Check it out.
OMG! Where do I sign up?? Brilliant work. This would look stunning with some high laced granny boots. Where is Helena Bonham Carter when you need her to be a model.
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Michelle - you're seriously amazing. I would kill for your talent!
ReplyDeleteyou have wicked talent! i love every piece i've seen on ebay & your website... esp the "pirate coat". your corsets are a work of art & i can't wait to own one of my very own!
ReplyDeleteHoly Crap! if that's the new skirt I am so into them! Your talent never ends does it!?
ReplyDeleteWhere do I get one of these?! Seriously, I have the hardest time finding skirts I like to wear with my bodices. ;)
ReplyDeleteyou don't know me, but I !love! your work.
ReplyDeleteI am eagerly awaiting the moment I get enough to get some of your pieces.
yummy!
Bustles are win, I adore Victorian looks, I dunno about the patchwork colours personally, but in a more solid look I think I'd totally buy one.
ReplyDeletethat is very steampunk for sure, i love it
