Home is where the Steampunk Is

If you look at this house and want to live in it, I bet we would get along.

I know it's sort of unfair for one family to have so many awesome people in it, but my parents somehow managed it. I have brothers that have more talent in their pinky than I have in my whole body. There are days when I get sort of egotistical and feeling good about my corsets, and then I see stuff like this and think," Wow....or not?" My older brother makes these houses out of resin and then he and his lovely wife paint them to look like the magnificent specimens you see before you! If you're unsure of what their purpose is, I'll gladly educate you! There is a game called Warhammer, and LET ME TELL YOU, the guys that play it are SUPER HOTTIES! (I only say this because my brothers play it.) and these are miniature landscape pieces that are used in the game. There are cheap plastic landscape props you can buy, and then there is the high-end ones, such as these.
I'm MOSTLY excited because my brother Dana came out with his steampunk houses which are freaking adorable! (okay, I KNOW that I shouldn't use that word! I'm sorry, gentlemen!) and I want to buy one of each and just keep them on my mantlepiece......if only I had a fireplace. Anyhow, I just wanted to show you guys this and let you know that you're welcome to pimp it out to any of this type of gamer that you might know! :) Here's the website! Take a look at the other GORGEOUS little houses!

  3. I don't play any sort of games like this but I want these anyway because I'm a huge dork. These would be really cool for fairy gardens and steampunk fairy houses are just wicked awesome. ;)

  10. I've never played the game but I knew someone who played it. He would always talk to me about his game pieces and game stories and stuff.

The house is AWESOME though! All the little details... I am impressed by it. Your family is full of awesome, indeed! Adopt me? :P

But what is the real point of this post?! To discuss the game, the cute buildings, or try to get your super hot brothers dates?! ROFL!! ;P

  12. Oh my! Was pleasantly surprised to see a Warhammer blog. My husband used to work for Games Workshop and had access to all the latest figs and scenery and even got some figs that were never officially released. Truly awesome!!

  14. Hey, Boo (that's right, your brothers read your blog). Bonus points for saying that nerdy guys are hot. Anyway, well-timed with the release of Dana's new website.
