The 13 Days of Halloween

In this picture, I was singing along to "I Can't Stop Partying" by Weezer.
I'm not even sure what the freak I'm doing making corsets. It turns out I should have been a professional pumpkin hat maker. I mean, the great thing is that there are so many colleges that have great programs for that field of work.
Okay, ladies! BIG NEWS! For the last half of September, we will be celebrating the "13 Days of Halloween" ( I discussed this with my customers on facebook, as it had originally started out as the 12 Days of Halloween complete with a "zombie in a bare tree". We decided to that lengthening it to the classic unlucky number was perfect.

Now, normally I would start this event right this second, because between you and me, I need those dang online sales to keep my family alive. Every time I announce a promotion, people wait until it's actually going, and my sales go stale. I totally get it, and I will try to be as vague as possible about HOW we're going to promote this celebration, just so everyone doesn't get TOO excited. It could be that I just hop on facebook and tell you ladies about a pair of tights that I think is awesome for Witch costumes. It COULD be that I'll list batches of the most spectacular, life-altering costumes you've ever beheld. It could be that I create a team of zombies and make them do my modeling for me (By the way, ONCE AGAIN, I'm truly sorry for how much you guys have to see my face. I DO live next to a former Disney World Princess, and I should have her over at my dang house every day modeling, because she's stunning. It's just so easy to pull off my muggle clothes and put on a corset.....)

Anyway, it will be awesome, especially if I can manage to NOT completely have a heart attack whilst preparing for our renaissance festival in Las Vegas. Ah, the Autumnal season is here! Those bags and wrinkles under my eyes are going to devour my face with their unsightly maws.

OH, by the way, if you're bad-A enough to be a pumpkin, I WILL be listing these pumpkin sets as one of the promotion days. There! I told you part of my plans!

  6. If you do a cow, I'm gonna be all over it! My s/n on some *other* sites is LaquaMooMoo, a sea cow of epically cute proportions.

  8. I assume you'll be doing a ghost, too. :)

(I just remember Willow from Buffy dressing up like a ghost that one Halloween, except she was dressed all sexy under that sheet... ;) )

  11. Oh. And as for the cow... <.< I was thinking of making a Texas cowgirl steampunk costume, and did flirt with the idea of spotted cow corset. But! I think I want to see if you can make one in rattlesnake print instead. :P

  14. How about a Candy Corn costume? I don't think I've ever seen a Candy Corn costume that looked "attractive" so that might be interesting! OR MAYBE a Mustard/Ketchup costume. LOL
