Ruffles Meets Pirates

Well, Hello friends! I'm sorry I haven't been updating my blog worth crap! Please forgive me. I've been busy, to say the very least! I promise to do better!!! For today, I wanted to show everyone the latest custom order that I did. The girl wanted a pirate corset, but ruffly. As you can imagine, my mind went crazy from the moment she mentioned it, and this is what I designed. It's not TONS different from my other work, but it does take a few elements and combine them in a new way. I just heard on the news that Johnny Depp just signed on for a 4th Pirates of the Caribbean Movie. Can I just take this special moment to thank Disney for putting out these movies so there's more hype about pirates and I can merchandise them? Thank you pirates, thank you.

  5. Love this Michelle, great color combination too. Pirates need ruffles too.

BTW there is a large group of us wearing your bodices to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival this weekend. So, don't be surprised if you get calls about these "crazy chicks who wouldn't shut up about your bodices until we called you", just a bit of forewarning. Wish you were there!

  6. I know this doesn't really follow up with your blog, but I didn't know how else to get a hold of you. I got one of your corsets at Shrewsbury, and when I got home, realized there was excess fabric on the reverse side that sticks out and throws off the symmetry. I love this corset (it was the last one left of its fabric, totally lucked out)and wondered how much it would cost to have the excess fabric removed.
