Okay, this is to all of you who have been looking at my corsets for years and HAVEN'T PURCHASED ONE! First off, let me thank you for being a stalker. I too, practice stalking some VERY cool etsy pages, so there's no shame in this daily ritual. I am also guilty of just drooling over things and never actually clicking on that button to buy them, so here goes my sales pitch.
We will be having a SERIOUS sale the day after Thanksgiving this year. You can get beautiful, high quality, handmade corsets at 30-60% off, PLUS we have some seriously cool "door prizes" for the first 25 people who snap something up starting at 6:00am Mountain Time. The corsets I'm selling are all brand new, and the only reason they're being discounted is because there might be limited quantities of them left in stock, OR the fabric they are made out of has been discontinued. We're also trying to use up small scraps of fabric, so there will be awesome patchwork corsets as well as freaking amazing patchy skirts.
There is seriously NO BETTER TIME to get something from our company than on the weekend of Thanksgiving. Get gifts for your friends! Get lingerie for your husband. Get a corset to wear under your clothing for back support! JUST DO IT! (hey, it worked for Nike...)
Oh, and if my faithful clans of friends/customers could also pimp me on their blogs and facebook pages, I would much appreciate it. ;)
Michelle
I bought a corset and I'm still a stalker! Love my corset soooo much! Also lovin' the new bullet belts!! Awesome1 that may have to be my next purchase.
ReplyDeleteThe other day I made a promise to myself to buy at least one of your corsets a year, as a reward for continuing to lose weight and keep it off. Your Thanksgiving sale sounds like the perfect time for me to start!
ReplyDeleteI just bought two corsets! Now I have to wait and buy more! I hope you will be having some tail coats on this awesome sale. That's a corset that I've been dreaming of! I now have a wench, a Victorian, and a vixen!! I need a tails coat too!
ReplyDeleteIf there are size 40-42 corsets on Black Friday, I will buy at least one!
ReplyDeleteThe only cruddy thing about being at Walt Disney World the week of Thanksgiving? I'm going to miss this awesome sale! Bummer! Don't worry though, I'll be sure and pimp you on my blog. I know some ladies who would look lovely in your corsets.
ReplyDeleteHey I'm one of those stalkers. =D I've been watching you for a year+ now. I was introduced to your work when you did my friend's bridal corset. Sadly I am still a long way off from being able to get one of your rockin' corsets! Don't got the money right now and there's no pre-mades in my size (3-4x). ;) But its all good because I'm on a diet and my goal is one of your corsets! So one of your pieces shall be mine one day!
ReplyDeleteOh I have definitely been a stalker! Though I did just put in an order for a corset too! lol Depending on the funds come sale day I may sneak another corset in! We shall see!
ReplyDeleteI take every opportunity to pimp your shop when I wench up. And your work is regularly recognized and admired at the SoCal Ren Faire. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting on my budget to treat myself to a second corset. Love love love your work.
OOOhhh!!! 4am on Black Friday and hit the refresh button every 5 minutes. Corset worn to work last week: white polka dot wench + green overbust empire, on top of a patchwork recycled sari skirt). My coworker's 7-year old daughter was at work that day, just chillin' (Veteran's day, no school). She took one look and gasped, "You look like a princess!"
ReplyDelete"I was trying to go for gypsy. Can be a Gypsy Princess?"
I have LONG been a stalker on etsy, and someday (funds pending) I will get one. I love corsets, and long before I found you I attempted one, and though its not horrible, I realize exactly what you're talking about needing real steel boning to make it work. Its just not very effective with wussy plastic boning.
ReplyDeleteI'd be ever so much more tempted now, except that I am 6 months pregnant, and no clue what size I'll be after. No worries, I'll still stalk and get one eventually.
Totally a stalker. But I would buy pre-mades if there were a few in the 3X to 4X sizes. And I would snap up patch work skits by the handful if they were bigger. I am not going to lose weight, so I just either have to wait to have the money for custom or beg for bigger stuff.
ReplyDeletePimping now. YAY!
ReplyDeleteI received a new corset for christmas from my daughter Michelle...and it is awesome. I love the earthy colors and the new design makes it possible to wear it with jeans and heels as well as a skirt.....Love love love it!!!!
ReplyDeletesaw your new bullet belt as well...too cute!
Now about that contest .....:-)
